The innovation currently happening on the automotive industry can be hard to keep up with. From fully electric vehicles being mass produced to autonomous vehicles no longer needing a human being behind the wheel, we are living in a golden age of technological innovation with regards to vehicles.
Volvo has always been at the forefront of this innovation when it comes to safety. Volvo has recently announced the release of the Volvo On Call. Volvo On Call is a built-in assistance system with app, allowing remote control of your Volvo.
The application has a range of features and is intended to hand more control over the owner of the vehicle. Some of the features include:

Remote Heater Start:
If your Volvo is equipped with a parking heater, you can use the Volvo On Call app to remotely heat up the vehicle.

Lock/unlock your Volvo:
You can use the Volvo On Call App to see if your vehicle is locked. So you do not have to constantly go back and check if you locked your vehicle.

Where did you park:
We have all been in the situation where you have been shopping for a few hours and you completely forget where you parked the car. Volvo On Call will help you to locate your car using the map in the app.

Own a Twin Engine:
Users of Twin Engine vehicles (PHEV/Plug-in Hybrids) have access to a number of additional smart functions via their Volvo On Call mobile app, such as pre-heating and cooling, delayed charging, battery status, favourite charging locations and a reminder to connect the charging cable if this has not been done by a predetermined time.
